The most useful knot in the world :- The Bowline

The Bowline has to be the most useful knot in the world, in addition to being the first choice knot for multiple jobs from the bow to the stern of your boat. The loop at the end of the knot makes it great for connecting your rope to sails, pulleys and anchor points.

The bowline is secure and never comes undone if tied correctly as it tightens on itself as you put more load on the line. Even as if the tension on rope has made the knot tight under load it can be easily undone by working the loop of the knot back over the main line
